Prof. Dr. Matthias Thommes (TVT) is among the TOP 50 most cited scientists worldwide in 2023, according to the new Stanford Ranking.
The Stanford Ranking is the result of a regular evaluation of Scopus, the world’s largest abstract and citation database for peer-reviewed literature published by Elsevier, carried out by researchers at Stanford University. According to the Stanford Ranking, around 223,152 researchers are among the most cited two percent in August 2024. A total of 10,420 scientists at German universities are listed – including 237 from FAU.
